Has been a busy week. First there was the Vice Regal couple's 35th wedding anniversary.

Today is one's 59th birthday, baby boomery gone mad. (Many thanks to the commenters in the entry below for their kind anniversarial thoughts. Your Orders of Australia are making their way to you in padded postbags as we mumble.)
More importantly, today signifies the withdrawal of Vice Regal support of Benson and Hedges Super Mild. Speaking of withdrawal, withdrawal symptoms abound. Fortunately such symptoms are mollified by the taking of (under the Vice Regal physician's orders and watchful gaze) two understairs maids hourly.
